 29 Fair StreetThe newest (and oldest) Summer House acquisition is 29 Fair Street, Nantucket's oldest inn and restaurant dating back to 1709. Formerly known as the Woodbox, 29 Fair has been carefully restored preserving its historic features including the original antique wide plank pine floors with some wooden wall planks dating back to the 1700's. Furnished with antiques, the inn represents authentic Nantucket style. Most accommodations are comfortable one and two bedroom suites with sofa beds in the living rooms. Complimentary jitney to the Beach and Pool Club on the Atlantic in Siasconset is included. The Inn has an acclaimed on site Bistro and is a short five minute stroll from Main Street.
